Between the Barents Sea and Finland’s highest mountain, the Gorsajuvet ravine in Kåfjorddalen valley is among the deepest in Northern Europe.
This GuideGunnar excursion travels to Gorsa Bridge, just above the Gorzifossen waterfall, which plunges 140 m in free fall into the depths. En route, we have two scenic ferry crossings, ascend the serpentine road of Kåfjord, lunch in the open air and have many photo stops in the spectacular landscapes of the Lyngen Alps. Walk to Gorsa Bridge: 1.8 km each way.
